Gabriel Forss Choir Concert

About the project

An outdoor concert with Gabriel Forss where I had technical responsibility for both sound and lighting. The concert was held in cold weather conditions, which placed extra demands on equipment and planning.

My role

• Sound engineer responsible for FOH mix
• Lighting technician responsible for stage lighting
• Technical coordinator for the entire production

Challenges

Outdoor concerts in cold conditions require special consideration for:

• Battery life on wireless equipment
• Condensation on equipment
• Acoustic changes in cold air
• Audience comfort

Results

The concert was successfully completed despite the demanding weather conditions, with good sound quality and atmospheric lighting.
