Josefina Gniste is a Swedish artist and songwriter. For the release of new music, I produced visual material for Spotify Canvas and social media promotion.

Spotify Canvas

Spotify Canvas is short looping video clips displayed when a song plays on Spotify. The format requires:

• Vertical video (9:16)
• 3-8 seconds that loop seamlessly
• Visually engaging without distracting from the music
• Adaptation to the artist’s aesthetic

Production

• Filming focused on mood and feel matching the song
• Creative use of light and color
• Seamless looping through careful planning
• Multiple versions for A/B testing

Results

The Canvas videos have been viewed millions of times on Spotify and contributed to increased engagement for the artist’s music. The material is also used in marketing on Instagram and TikTok.
